Well, I just came back from voting in today's 5 Feb 08 California "Super Tuesday" primary where I took these two pics.
Today's Spanish voting is #3 in my WTH series. Click here for #2: [link] here for #1: [link] and here for #4: [link]
Your thoughts? Wouldn't everyone be better off if America required one language for all official correspondence? Where should we draw the line as to which languages are important enough to include and which are insignificant enough to exclude?

I totally embrace the concept of America being a melting pot of assimilation welcoming people from all across the world along with their culture, language, music, foods, etc but when it comes to American citizens voting at the polls, the only posted language should be English (afterall for the time being there still is an English test for foreigners to pass in order to become naturalized US citizens - I know because my wife studied for it and passed it but she doesn't expect the US government to have signs in Korean or any of other commonly spoken 140 languages of the world...why is Spanish treated as a special case over all other foreign languages?)
A collection of the most beautiful and amazing square photographs I found among my favourites. Please have a look and give these artists the attention they deserve!

I wish they did have Korean lettering on signs too, my mother is Korean (i'm half) and barely knows any english, reading is very hard for her.
But I do wish English was the official language.
