I am so honored my pic was selected as 1 of 8 finalists in Jaguar's photo contest.

PHOTO DESCRIPTION: Seeing this Jaguar was truly a jaw-dropping experience. This centerpiece of the photo is a 1956 Jaguar XKSS originally owned by legendary actor and racecar driver, Steve McQueen. I'd previously seen this very same XKSS on display at the Petersen Auto Museum in L.A. but on this occasion it was one of the stars of an auto show at the Monterey Jet Center on August 11th, 2010. As for the composition of the picture, I was excited to picture it draped between old and new Jaguars and aircraft; including a new XKR and a vintage XK140 and a new executive jet and a vintage high performance prop bi-plane. I was not sure how well the photo would turn out with the lens pointed directly toward to spotlights so I left the flash turned off and used the auto timer to eliminate any slightest movement whatsoever.
