I know the quality of the picture sucks but I thought it might be worth posting anyway because F1s are so incredibly cool and rare. This is 1 of 3 McLarens F1s that I've been lucky enough to spot. This car happened to be driven by a spectator at a race at Laguna Seca Mazda Raceway between Monterey and Salinas, CA. (I've also seen a yellow one at a supercar auction in Monterey and a maroon/rust colored one in a public beach parking lot along the PCH in Santa Monica).

I will never tire of the shape of this car, to me it looks as fresh now as when it first came out. And it is a superb testament to the designers and engineers that put them together.

So true, a remarkable timeless design; and on top of that it is also so practical. As a 3-seater I could take my wife and daughter along for 240 mph sprints
