Get Smart Sunbeam Alpine Tiger

I saw this authentic Sunbeam on display at Warner Brothers Studio in Burbank, CA that was featured in the movie "Get Smart" which starred Steve Carell, Anne Hathaway, Dwayne Johnson, Alan Arkin, Terence Stamp, and James Caan.

The Tiger is powered by a 260 c.i. Ford V8 and closely resembles it's tamer sibling, the 4-cyl Sunbeam Alpine.

Thanks to privateercaptain for noticing that this car is actually an Alpine sporting Tiger badges. After a little research I discovered: "Sunbeam Tiger was featured in the 2008 film adaptation of the Get Smart TV series. A replica Tiger had to be constructed using a stock Sunbeam Alpine and re-created Tiger badging as no available Tiger could be found in Canada, where the film was produced. The production team recorded the sound of an authentic Tiger owned by a collector in Los Angeles, and edited it into the film" Link: [link]
