So do you think it matters to the owners of these supercars (GT3RS and F430) whether the price of gas is $2 per gallon or $4?

I took this pic at Moss Landing on the Pacific Coast Highway (PCH) Hwy 1 between Santa Cruz and Monterey.

if you end up buying such a car -- gas prices wouldn't be the first thing that you would worry about... theres plenty of other expenses that run up the list before gas cost.. haha

insurance / maintenance for one

was this during an event or just chance? Anyway yeah the insurance + maintenance + premium gas instead the poor person gas we all use would be awful!

Surprisingly, it was just by chance. That day didn't coincide with any of the big car events in Monterey. Another surprising by chance encounter I saw was a Saleen S7TT, ironically right along the same stretch of Hwy 1 near Moss Landing (but I didn't have my dang camera with me on that day)

definitely something you would never see in wisconsin. for one..porsches here are popular, but gt3s are not, i have only seen one. ferraris are even rarer, most that i see are from the 80s I have only seen two from the 90s in recent memory
