959 Corvette Sting Ray Daytona by Partywave 959 Corvette Sting Ray Daytona by Partywave
My gallery of Corvettes pics (here: [link] ) seemed like it needed one more Sting Ray so I thought I'd upload this pic I took a few months ago at Canepa Auto Museum in Los Gatos, CA.
:headbang:
DA member immortal20 might like this Vette.
:highfive:
Click download to see the dash gauges and steering wheel.
You might recognize the cars in the background. Here's pics I previously posted of the NASCAR legend Buddy Baker's Dodge Charger Daytona: [link] :horns and the silver Porsche 959: [link] :omfg:

Oooooo must love that deep jewel tone. I saw one almost identical at a car show years ago, that was a memory for life (cuz I never saw a C2 again! Tragic being my favourite of all generations of Corvette)

:boogie: Yeah GM made some legendary blue paints in the 60s & 70s. Some names come to mind but I know there were even more (Bridghampton Blue, Nassau Blue, Marina Blue, Laguna Blue, etc).

Nice, '67 is one of my favorite years.

the 5 "gills" on the side. '65 and '66 had 3, and '63 and '64 had the two horizontal slots instead of vertical gills.

Thanks immortal. Congrats on the new car :highfive: I've heard great things about Citroens but unfortunately they pulled out of the US market back in the 70s so I've never even ridden in one. My only exposure to modern Citroens is internet rally racing footage.
