This 1988 Porsche 959 is one of only 226 produced and sold worldwide between 1987 and 1988. This very rare Porsche was far ahead of its time and is considered by many as the ultimate 911. This beauty is the traditional German racing color silver and has tri-color leather interior and only 7,600 miles. It only weighs 2,900 lbs has 600 hp/540 lb ft torque, 6-speed stickshift with AWD and is capable of speeds greater than 215 mph (even though it is more than 20 years old!)


This car is even more unique because it is a Canepa Design 959 which means it was imported and reengineered with a new sequential engine management system, Garrett Air Research twin turbo system, stainless exhaust with dual catalytics, upgraded fuel system and wiring harnesses resulting in dramatically improved performance while also being able to pass California's stringest emissions requirements. Canepa also upgraded this 959 with HID headlamp conversion a 340 kph speedometer and 959 S suspension with special gas struts and titanium coil-over springs.

Ahhh... Porsches Technic innovation Wonder from the 80th´s...
but he shares the same Destiny like Jaguars XJ 220 ( most of them are not Sold till Today, they are molding in a Big Factorybuilding anywhere in England ).

I Saw a lot of Cars on the Street but Never the 959 or the XJ 220 think they are all in some Museum´s that´s so sad *_*

Well, it seems that the Area around Monterey CA. is a very good place to spot Excotic Cars from that Caliber ^_^
